Russian FM warns Hamas it will have no future if it fails to reform
By News Agencies
MOSCOW - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Friday that Hamas will have no future if the Palestinian militant group fails to transform itself into a political structure... (Russian foreign minister Lavrov said) " reassess its new role, for which maybe it wasn't ready when the elections took place..."

What I`ve been saying all along

Mark Klein, M.D.

From the get go (since the Palestinian elections) on my posts I wrote the world won`t tolerate Hamas adopting an IRA duel wing political/terrorist strategy.

The Hamas victory could be the best chance Israel`s had to settle things. Israel`s problem is it`s conceptually stuck in the long gone world of nation state treaties. Nation states in the 21st century? Never heard of `em. Hell will freeze over before Hamas ever puts things in writing.

What`s wrong with a Hudna? Time is on Israel`s side. Hamas is in a very tough political spot. It must deliver economic improvements to its constituencies. That means facing facts about getting along with Israel and not scaring the beejeebies out of the international community supporting terrorism.

Smart people know administrations are voted out not in.
