Judge Alito's a good choice but much remains for the GOP to hold its base

Judge Alito is a sound choice. Doubt the Democrats could block him. He's not anti- Rowe v Wade but rather supports some notification requirements for minors seeking abortions.

Breathtaking the absolute right to kill one's unborn child remains front and center as the key issue of the Democratic Party.

Social conservatives shouldn't celebrate so soon with the Alito nomination. However he ends up ruling the failure of the administration, and our leadership elites generally, to address the destruction of the middle class and family stability will determine the future of the social conservative movement.

With a 50% divorce rate, very low marriage formations, and extreme housing unaffordability the middle class is becoming an endangered specie.
