The nitty-gritty of exploring a run for the presidency

The first step in exploring a run for federal office is getting up to speed on campaign finance law. From everything I learned thus far 99% of compliance issues turn on applying basic common sense, keeping good records, filing timely reports to Federal Election Commission, and simply always to behave honestly.

I hope to raise money from Jewish American citizen supporters living in Israel. That's where we'll have to be very careful because the law forbids foreign donations.

Except for raising children, seriously considering running for the White House is the most interesting and challenging experience of my life.
